World War II Manoeuvre Warfare

PanzerMatters Blog!

This site discusses tank and mechanized warfare during World War II. It especially focuses on German panzer (tank) action, as they were involved in almost all manoeuvre warfare in the European Theatre of Operations, in the first years attacking, and in the later years often defending or counterattacking. The blog will at first study the historical simulations and wargames that represent World War II manoeuvre warfare at the operational and strategic levels, with particular attention to the Eastern Front/Great Patriotic War tank battles and the movement of mechanized/motorized forces.
